The PSP is a formal scholarship enrichment program that began more than 25 years ago and includes engagement activities, encouraging classes, inspirational programs, and a formal mentoring platform. It is designed to improve student retention, boost internship, co-op, and job placements, and increase graduation rates.
The PSP inspires students to develop their unlimited potential.

The PSP hosts and supports dozens of engagement opportunities throughout the year to encourage and enlighten students. PSP activities engage and celebrate the annual success of the students with families and administrators at the annual Scholarship Luncheon. PSP freshman classes focus on success strategies, adaptation approaches, and leadership themes through a general UK course in the fall and an engineering course in the spring. PSP Programs build confidence and elevate skill levels for students through financial wellness, CliftonStrengths assessments, etiquette lessons, and a possible study abroad experience.

The PSP mentoring platform includes a structured group of talented and revered individuals who use thoughtful planning and sustained commitment to lead the Pigman Scholars. PSP programs and offerings are consistently enhanced and expanded to meet the needs of our students. The PSP provides students with a unique and transformational life investment and is centered on creating an ecosystem of support by placing students on the path to success.
